Bison Women’s Hockey Trip
Project Story
We are extremely excited for the opportunity to travel to Europe on August 22 – September 3,
2022 to play exhibition games against the senior teams in Poland, Czech Republic, Bratislava,
Austria and Budapest!
This is a once in a lifetime experience that not only allows us to play against new and
competitive teams, it also offers an opportunity to immerse ourselves in new cultures and
become educated about Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria and Hungary. In addition to
playing games, we are also fortunate enough to be able to see major historical sites such as the
Nuclear Bunker in Prague, Auschwitz and Visegrad Medieval Castle. Throughout this trip we
have the chance to learn about the deep history each country has to offer.
The fundraising money will be used to subsidize numerous costs including flights, transportation
and accommodations. With your support, we will be able to make the trip unforgettable!
Our team is extremely lucky to include 30 student-athletes. We work incredibly hard in our
academics and athletics, devoting countless hours around the rink practicing, training and
playing all the while gaining an incredible education through the University of Manitoba.
We greatly appreciate your support in helping us to reach our top potential as student-athletes
and allowing us to participate in this incredible opportunity!
