Please support the T. Patrick Gill Memorial Scholarship for Football
In honour of Pat Gill’s memory, friends, family, and colleagues created the T. Patrick Gill Memorial Scholarship in 2011. We need your help to keep Pat’s legacy alive by endowing the scholarship and providing long-lasting support to our student-athletes.
Pat was instrumental to the Bison Football program in the integral role as team manager from 1967 until his passing at the completion of the 2011 season. He was with the Bisons for an amazing 45 seasons and was part of the three Vanier Cup Championships teams in Manitoba (1969, 1970, 2007). The Gill Family has been a staple to the Bison Football Program at the University of Manitoba and the community for more than five decades.
Once endowed, the T. Patrick Gill Memorial Scholarship will be awarded annually to one successful player in the Bison Football program, demonstrating exemplary leadership, work ethic, and community involvement. The scholarship serves to support the student-athlete and recognize the qualities and values exhibited by Pat while he was with the football program.
